Talking Together: A Parent's Guide to the Development, Enrichment, and Problems of Speech and Language

Dr. Schetz received a Master's degree in Communication Disorders from Radford University, and both a Master's degree in Family and Child Development and a doctorate in Education from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Along with training in Speech-Language Pathology, she added specialized training in the field of foreign accent reduction training from experts in the field of accented speech. She is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in the field since 1982. Prior to setting up a private practice, she worked for 17 years in the Montgomery County Virginia Public Schools providing speech and language services for preschool, elementary, middle, and high school students. She is co-author of the book Talking Together: A Parent's Guide to the Development, Enrichment, and Problems of Speech and Language.
